Facilities Planning Input

The Council Bluffs Community School District Board of Education is preparing to develop a multi-year Master Facilities Plan. A recent study of the district's elementary school buildings detailed the current elementary school building deficiencies in light of many features often available in a modern school environment. In order for the Master Facilities Plan to reflect the community's vision for its school buildings, the survey is seeking input from cross-section of the community on the scope of change and types of school facilities improvement projects the Board should consider. Many of the questions focus on elementary school buildings primarily because major building improvement projects at the district's high schools are either nearly complete or underway and because the District has not completed a study of the features of a modern middle school.
