Peer Coaching, Carson City, Aug. 19th, (9:00-12:00 PST)

Peer coaching is a process through which two or more professional colleagues work together to reflect on current practices; expand, refine, and build new skills; share ideas; teach one another; or solve problems in the workplace. Although peer coaching seems to be the most prominent label for this type of activity, a variety of other names are used in the corporate world: peer support, consulting colleagues, and peer sharing. This program provides employees with the skills they need to provide behavior-based coaching to their peers in a way that will further build and develop their skill competency level.
