November 4--Reading in class pages 108-112 in class. Begin Chapter 4-Sec. 4 guided notes. Due Monday!! Study for the French and Indian War Assessment!!!!!!
November 5--French and Indian War catch up day! Finish map activity from Wednesday and Chapter 4-Sec. 4 guided notes from yesterday. If you have everything finished, you may take the practice quizzes below. You have a choise of 2 to take.
November 8--FRENCH AND INDIAN WAR ASSESSMENT in computer lab. Do your best!!! Turn in your guided notes and maps into your hour tray! REMEMBER: YOU MUST PASS THE ASSESSMENT WITH A 70% OR ABOVE. If you do not, you will have to retake the quiz in study hall. STUDY WHILE YOU CAN!
November 9--Begin Chapter 5-Sec. 1, reading and taking notes in class.

NOVEMBER 11--NO SCHOOL! CELEBRATE OUR AMERICAN HEROES!
November 12--Who are our veterans? Discussion about Veteran's Day. Create "Road to Revolution" booklet covers and color enhance acts/taxes covered so far.
November 15--Working on Road to Revolution booklets and power point slides 8-11. Study! COLONIAL TEA LETTERS DUE!
November 16--Boston Massacre reader's theatre play in class. Read and discuss.
November 17--Continue with Road to Revolution booklets, power point slides 12-15. Colonial tea RSVP instructions given out along with invitation. RSVP is due tomorrow!!!!!
November 18th--RSVP due! Finish power point and booklets. Study for Road to Revolution Assessment tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You must pass with a 70% or above.
November 19th--Review for assessment, assessment on Quia. Do your best!!!!!
November 22nd--Colonial Tea Etiquette Lesson with Mrs. Hopkins.
November 23rd--COLONIAL TEA! Remember there is a dress code for the day. Young ladies need to wear skirts or dresses. Young men need to wear button up shirt with tie or a collared shirt with tie along with dress pants or nice, dark colored jeans.
November 24th--The history of Thanksgiving in America mini-lesson. Shortened class hours today.
November 25-28--Thanksgiving Break! Enjoy the time with your family and friends.
CANNED FOOD DRIVE BEGINS. BRING IN LOOSE CHANGE OR NON-PERISHABLE FOOD ITEMS TO YOUR HOMEROOM ALL THIS WEEK AND NEXT WEEK. PLEASE HELP THOSE IN NEED HAVE FOOD FOR THE HOLIDAYS!
November 29th--Chapter 5, Section 3 guided reading notes and completed "Road to Revolution" booklets, due Wednesday. "The Shot Heard 'Round the World" short video, discuss the battle of Lexington and Concord.
November 30th--"April Morning" video with video comprehension wkst.
December 1--"April Morning" video with video comprehension wkst. Guided reading notes from Monday are due today along with Road to Revolution booklets.
December 2--Finish "April Morning" and complete reflection essay in class. Due at the end of the period.
December 3--Complete Chapter 5-Section 3 and 4 with guided reading notes. Due Monday if not finished today.
December 6 through December 15--Working on Chapter 6 guided reading packet in class for 1/2 the class period and watching "1776" with video comprehension wkst. for the last 1/2 of the period. Use your class time wisely to work on the guided reading packet!
December 16--Anniversary of the Boston Tea Party!!! Chapter 6 packet DUE TODAY!!!! Review for tomorrow's assessment and finish "1776" if necessary! STUDY FOR YOUR ASSESSMENT USING ALL OF THE GUIDED NOTES YOU HAVE!
December 17--American Revolutionary War Assessment on Quia. Do your best to pass!!!
