Week of September 11, 2006
This week's reading selection, Henry and Mudge Under the Yellow Moon, by Cynthia Rylant, is a story about friendship. The main characters, a boy named Henry, and his pet mastiff, Mudge, look at the world differently and enjoy different things - but are always together. Our students will discover that appreciating the differences in others makes for the closest friendships.
Your child can review and practice the vocabulary words and definitions for Henry and Mudge Under the Yellow Moon by clicking the Java Games link in the Quia activities section below.
