Identify whether the verb in each sentences in in the imperfect tense, or the perfect tense. Remember that the IMPERFECT tense describes action that was repeated, incomplete, or took place over a period of time. The PERFECT tense describes something that happened once, and is now finished ("perfectum" is Latin for "complete").
