Rounding to the Nearest Hundred Hard Difficulty (numbers that round from 0 to 10,000)
We round numbers to find a benchmark that is closest to a number, or estimate. These numbers are easier to add in our head when we want to find a close estimate quickly. Choose the correct answer when you round to number to the nearest hundred. Remember, when you round to the nearest hundred, you are looking for a benchmark that ends in two zeros. Sometimes, if a number rounds to the next thousand, there would be three zeros. You may use the rounding strip we made in class to help you. Enjoy!
