Chap. 23 Distinguishing 2nd Conj. Present from 3rd Conj. Future
The verb endings -et and -ent (as well as -ēs, -ēmus, and -ētis) could indicate either the present tense of a 2nd conjugation verb (-ō, -ēre) or the future tense of a 3rd conjugation verb (-ō, -ere). See p. 203 in ER I for additional discussion. Determine when the actions by the Cornelii will occur in this battleship game.
