Dad saw Shannon with a book. "I'm really proud of you, Shannon! You've been reading for over one hour. That story must be really good! You act like you're glued to it. What book are you reading?"

Shannon said, "Making Exciting Collages Using Junk."

2 hours later, Dad saw Shannon in the same place. "Honey, you better put the book away. It's bedtime."

Shannon told Dad, "I need to stay up a little longer."

Dad reminded Shannon, "There's school tomorrow. You have to get up early."

Shannon stood up. "I''d like to put the book down but I can't! It's like you said, I'm glued to it!"
