The verb être

Review page 60 in order to correctly match the subjects and verbs. Remember that in French, we can repeat the noun subject and the pronoun: Marie, elle est petitie. In order to do this, you need to see a comma after the subject.

In this activity, you may find that more than one item from column one will match an item in column two. This also means that some items in column two may not have a match at all.

This is a very important verb. Please practice this many times so that you will never forget it. You should play many times as there are 18 different subjects, so there are many possible versions of this game.
