Using the verb SAVOIR

►SAVOIR means to know information, to know answers, to know how to do things.

► Use SAVOIR in the place of POUVOIR to say that you can do something because you have learned
(I can dance = Je sais danser)

► Use CONNAITRE to express the idea of Knowing people or being familiar with places

(Je connaissais ton père = I knew you father)
(Tu connais ce quartier = You know the neighbourhood )
