VL 6: Do you/Don't you? Communications Practice
When we form declarative sentences, English and Spanish use the same sentence structure: S + V + DO. When asking questions, however, Spanish may use the same sentence structure and add only a question mark. When translating such sentences into English, the subject and verb order may need to switch places. (Remember also, that sometimes the subject follows the very when using the el/ella/usted form, to clarify just who the subject is.) See if you can match the language translations in this practice exercise.
