Columns: Identify the matching terms in two columns.

Do you know quotient, sum, difference, less than, product phrases?

Match the English phrases with their algebraic expression. Remember the word "and" separates the two items you are to add or subtract or multiply or divide.

I used the symbol / to show division or quotient. It is easy to overlook it so be careful.

Also remember that
"6 LESS THAN a number or 6 SUBTRACTED FROM a number
is x-6, not 6-x".
