Columns: Identify the matching terms in two columns.

Help all the little nouns go home . . .

What family does each noun belong to? Remember the Latin name (nominative) for each noun given. [You may want to review vocabulary for capitula i et ii, using the vocabulary activities]. Draw a line from the noun to the family it belongs to. If the Latin nominative ends in -a, it belongs to the first family, or declension. If the Latin word ends in -us or -r, it belongs to the 2nd family, or declension, upstairs in the 2nd family duplex. If the Latin word ends in -um, it belongs to the 2nd family, downstairs in the 2nd family duplex. Buona fortuna!
