Activity inspired by Miss Priddy, Match the Latin verb to the correct definition (description). This activity uses the active verb "tempto" and the deponent verb "conor." Both mean "try." It also uses the active verb "dico" and the deponent verb "loquor." Both mean "speak." Remember that Deponent Verbs have Passive Forms with Active Meanings! This activitiy is based on introduction of deponent verbs in Stage 32 of Unit 3 of Cambridge (4th edition).
