Capitulum 12: Possessive Dative
In Latin, there are two ways to say that someone "has" something.
1. Aemilia frātrem habet. (Nominative + Accusative + habēre)
2. Aemiliae frāter est. (Dative + Nominative + esse.)
In this activity, you will practice with Pattern #2 above. Remember that, with this pattern, the person or thing that "possesses" something is in the dative case ("possessive dative").
