In English, there are several ways that verbs change to nouns. Some verbs become nouns by adding the suffix -ment, for example, 'improve' (verb) and 'improvement' (noun). Complete each sentence with the correct form of the words in parentheses. In addition, indicate whether the word is a verb or a noun. Write all the verbs in the simple past tense. They may be affirmative or negative. The nouns may be plural or singular. Follow the example below: I go to [] (school) everyday. ANSWER: school, noun She [] (school) her children at home.
