Arturo y yo vamos al cine

The following sentences go together to tell a short story. Each sentence tells about people who do things in the story. Verbs are the kinds of words that represent what people do. When a person does an action, In Spanish, the form of the verb must match with the person doing it. This is called "conjugation". Remember the endings, "-o, -as, -a, -amos, -áis, -an"? The form of a verb when no one is doing it is called the Infinitive and in English is "to run, to walk, to need, to want, to eat". In Spanish, the infinitive of a verb will either end in "AR, ER or IR", like buscar, comer, recibir". Your job in this activity is to manipulate the verbs in the sentences so the complete the sentence in the appropriate way. Be careful, however. Some of the verbs will remain in their infinitive form if they are the second verb of a two-verb expression. Keep working until you have all of the blanks correctly filled. Be strong! Be aggressive!
