Primer 1 - Week 14 Verb Review
These games review the verbs, those words which describe the subject's activity or state of being, found in the vocabulary lists in weeks 1 through 14. Latin verbs have 4 principal parts (usually four, vs. three in English) which must be memorized in order to conjugate the verb in all its forms. The first principal part is the first person singular present active indicative, (i.e. amO) and the second principal part is the present active infinitive (amAre). I have listed both of these forms for verbs that are clearly 1st or 2nd conjugation verbs; you should begin to memorize them. The present active infinitive is used to find the "present stem" to which you add the personal endings. (The function of the remaining principal parts will be explained much later.)
