Past Participles: Matching

The past participle is the verb form used in perfect tenses- "I have eaten (written, spoken, sung, etc.)". It, as in English, can also be used as an adjective - "Baby Bear saw that his porridge was eaten." When used as an adjective, it must agree with the noun it is describing. For these activities you will just need to know the "root" form- as it is used in perfect tenses.

Regular verbs just add "ado" or "ido" to the root- no changes. Some verbs though end in "ído", and other are just altogether irregular. Familiarize yourself well with this verb form. Try to master all the activities so that you can easily produce the past participle when necessary.
