Sections 6.2 & 6.3 Succession and Biodiversity

Study these flashcards until you can go through the entire deck without making a mistake. Look at each flashcard, think the answer to yourself in your head, then click the flashcard to turn it over and see what the answer is. If you knew it, click the arrow button. You will move on to the next flashcard and won't see the one you knew again. If you didn't know it, click the flashcard again so you can see the question. Read the question and say the answer to yourself. Spend about 10 seconds trying to memorize it, then click the "try again later" button. It will shuffle the card back into the deck so it will come up again later. Keep studying the flashcards until you work your way through the entire deck. Then take a break, come back later, and study the deck again. Each time you do this, you should be able to make it through the deck quicker because you will know more and more of the flashcards. Do this until you can open up the deck and work your way through it without making a mistake. In order to get credit for this assignment, you need to accumulate at least 1 minute per flashcard in the deck AND pass the flashcard quiz. For instance, if there are 30 flashcards in the deck, you will need to study a MINIMUM of 30 minutes. It doesn't have to be all at once. Quia.com will keep track of your study time and report it to your teacher. You can check how much time quia is giving you credit for by going to your homepage. It stops the timer if you are not actively studying, so if you just open them up and watch a TV show for half an hour, quia will not give you credit for studying for 30 minutes. You will need to know the flashcards well enough to pass the flashcard quiz anyways, so just keep studying until you know them all. Good luck!
