Tech Prep Biz Law CH 1 - Law and Justice

This chapter will introduce you to the concepts of law, justice, and ethics. Types of U.S. law including the four sources of law, criminal vs. civil law, and procedural vs. substantive law will be reviewed. Finally, we will go over the three levels of federal courts; we'll identify the various types of state and local courts; and you will understand how jurisdiction differs between federal and state courts.
