Metric System Prefixes

Using numbers to describe quantities in physics requires the use of scientific notation. Physics students need to know prefixes that are used to indicate certain powers of 10.
Note: 10^2 is 10 raised to the 2 power and excel would use 1E+02 to enter this value.
