Stem-changing Preterite Practice

Remember:

*-ir verbs that have stem changes in the present tense also have stem changes in the preterite (past event) tense. -ar and -er verbs that have stem changes in the present tense do not have stem changes in the preterite tense.

*In the preterite, the two stem changes are from e to i and from o to u. These changes only happen in the "he/she" and "they/y'all" forms, only in -ir verbs that are also stem-changers in the present tense.
