Fossil FuelsFuels like oil and natural gas which come from the remains of dead plants and animals. Burning these fuels causes the release of Carbon Dioxide which causes global warming.

Indigenous PeoplesNative people of an area who have been conquered or dominated by others who had a stronger military.
Industrial Revolutionthe huge shift in the Economy of the US and Europe that occurred in the 1700's. Stuff was made by machines instead of handtools.

Comparative AdvantageWhen one country can make or produce something cheaper than another country.
Outsourceto hire someone outside of a company to do a job that someone in the company used to do. (ie. Many good paying American jobs are being shipped overseas to places like India and China).
Information Technology (IT)the use of technology to record and process information via computers, cell phones, satellites and the Internet.
