| even numbers | numbers that end in 0, 2, 4, 6, or 8 |
| digits | the symbols used to write numbers: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 |
| rename | to show a number another way; 28 can be 2 tens + 8 ones |
| rounding | changing a number to the nearest ten, hundred, thousand or so on |
| odd numbers | numbers ending in 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 |
| place value | the value of a place within a number |
| table | information given in a graph to solve a problem |
| order | placing according to size or amount |
| least | the smallest in a group |
| greatest | the biggest in a group |
