SAG/FRAG:German I: Chapter 5

Communicative Functions:

Starting a conversation/Telling time and talking about when you do things/Making plans/Ordering food and beverage/Talking about how something tastes/Paying the check.

Culminating Activity:

The students will pretend that they have decided to drop by an Imbissstand for a snack.
In the first part of the conversation, the students should discuss the foods that are available at the snack stand, and each should decide what he or she wants to eat and drink. They'll be on tight budgets and can't afford to spend more than 10 marks each; therefore, they next need to figure out how much their choices will cost.

Once they've decided upon snacks they can afford, have students take turns in the roles of vendor and customer, so that each can order the food and drink he or she decided upon. After the students order and receive their food, make sure they remember to pay for it!

The students will perform their scenario for the class.
