Equivalent Fractions
Match the equivalent (equal) fractions. Remember that you can write many equivalent fractions. For instance, 1/10 can equal 2/20 or 3/30 or 4/40 and so forth. You multiply the same number with the numerator and the denominator of a fraction to find an equivalent fraction. So, for 1/10, I multiplied 2 times the numerator and 2 times the denominator to get 2/20. Or I could multiply 3 times the numerator and 3 times the denominator to get 3/30. 1/10 = 2/20 = 3/30 and so forth! Take your time and watch carefully! You may need to check a few on paper before you match the fractions.
