| Information processor | A machine that receives input, stores, manipulates, and can output information. A computer is one of these machines. |
| Multimedia | More than one medium. A combination of text, sound, graphics, and video controlled by a computer system. |
| Bar code | A pattern of black and white stripes representing digital data. |
| Scanner | An input device used to read text and bar codes, or to input pictures into a computer. |
| Output | Information coming OUT of a computer. It might be text, sound, graphics, or video. |
