Biome.World Biomes.Is a large-scale ecosystem.Tundra.Taiga.Grassland.Deciduous forest.Desert,and Tropical rain forest.
Climate zone.Is a region through out which yearly patterns of temperature rainfall, and amount of sunlight are similar.
Intertidal zone.Is an area where the tide and churning waves provide a constant supply of oxigen and nutrients to living organisms.
Near-shore zone.Is an area beyond the breaking waves that extends to waters that are about 180 m deep.
Open-ocean zone.It includes most of the ocean water. In this zone the water is very deep,but most organisms live near the surface.
Estuary.Is the place where a freshwater river empties into an ocean.
Freshwater Ecosystems.Are Lakes, ponds,streams,rivers,some marshes,and swamps are all freshwater ecosystems.
Saltwater Ecosystems.( 1 )Varieties of saltwater ecosystems exist because of differences in sunlight, nutrients in the water.
Tropical rain forests.( 1 )Tropical rain forests are found near the Equator.The climate of tropical rain forests is also very wet.It rains almost every day.
Ecosystem.A community and its physical environment together.
Biomes and Climates.in North America there are six large-scale systems called Biomes.Each biome has characteristic plants and animals adapted to the conditions there.
