Weirdo Verbs and the Present Subjunctive Tense

Choose the verbs that will turn a complex sentence into a subjunctive one. Remember that you must have A=an independent clause with a weirdo verb in it que=that B=the dependent clause that has a subjunctive verb in it (start with the yo, drop the o, add the opposite endings ar-e,es,e,emos,en or er/ir-a,as,a,amos,an and the seven irregulars dé, esté, haya, vaya, sea, vea, and sepa with the endings that go with them).

W -wishes, wants	Quiero que estudies más. I want you to study more.
W-wants, wishes	Prefiero que vayas ahora. I prefer that you go now.
E -emotions, exaggerations	Estoy triste que él esté enfermo. I am sorry that he is sick.
E-emotions, exaggerations	Ella está feliz que yo venga. She's happy that I'm coming.
I -Impersonal statements	Es importante que nosotros lleguemos pronto. It's important that we arrive early.
I -Impersonal statements	Es terrible que haya un examen hoy. It's terrible that there is a test today.
R-Recommendations, requests	Sugiero que vayan ahí. I suggest they/y'all go there.
R- Recommendations, requests	Mando que me obedezcan. I command that you all obey me.
D-Doubt, denial	Dudo que podamos ayudar. I doubt that we can help.
D- Doubt, denial	No creyo que ella sepa. I don't believe/think that she knows.
O-Ojalá	Ojalá que ganemos. I hope that we win.
O- Ojalá	Ojalá tengan buena suerte. I hope they have good luck.
