Lesson 1 (One) Leccíon Número Uno
The verb "to be"/El verbo "ser" y "estar"
En inglés, no hay dos verbos que significan los verbos ser y estar, más bien hay un verbo, el verbo "to be". Vamos a practicar el verbo con un juego. El versículo para recordarse es il siguiente: San Juan 14:6 --Jesús le contestó: --Yo soy el camino, la verdad y la vida. Solamente por mí se puede llegar al Padre.(I am the way, the truth and the life. Only through me one can arrive to the Father.)
To be/present tense -- ser y estar/tiempo presente
I am = soy, estoy
You are = Tú eres, estás, Usted es,está (singular)
He is = Él es, está
She is = Ella es, está
It is = Una forma neutra que puede indicar
un sostantivo que no sea una persona o
un animal
We are = Nosotros, nosotra somos, estamos
You are = Ustedes son, están
They are = Ellos son, están, Ellas son, están
