Variables and Expressions

In an algebraic expression letters can stand for numbers. When we substitute a specific value for each variable, and then perform the operations, it's called evaluating the expression.

Evaluate each expression below when a=1, b=2 and c=8.

AB
y+810
z-62
5x5
(2y)+48
xz8
z/y4
x(y+5)7
z/(yx)4
xyz16
(xy)/z1/4
(xy)+(xz)10
(6y)/(z-y)2
