PastePlaces a copy of whatever is currently on the clipboard onto the page. You can paste an unlimited number of times
CutRemoves the text/object from the page and places it on the Clipboard
Word-processing programAllows you to type, edit, and format documents such as letters, reports, and tables.
Word wrapWhen the text automatically wraps to the next line of a document
WYSIWYGAcronym that stands for “What You See Is What You Get”
Insertion pointThe blinking vertical line that shows where your text or object will be inserted
Title barThe blue bar that runs across the top of the screen that tells the name of the document as well as the name of the program
Menu barThe row of words across the top of the screen that “pull down” to reveal other commands
Standard toolbarContains shortcuts for many common tools such as open, save, print, and print preview
Formatting toolbarContains many shortcuts to change the appearance of your text
Scroll barsThe sliding bars found along the right and bottom of the screen, allowing you to see other parts of a long document
Task paneCan be used for many tasks, such as adding clip art and searching
Cropsimilar to using scissors; allows you to trim pictures
Handlesshows that a picture is selected; could be black squares or white dots
Print screentakes a snapshot of your screen and allows you to paste it in as a picture
