reciprocalTwo numbers that have a product of 1. A fraction turned upside down.
quotientThe result of the division of one quantity by another.
productThe result of multiplication.
positive numberNumbers that are greater than zero.
real numberThe combined set of rational and irrational numbers.
fractionA way of representing part of a whole or part of a group by telling the number of equal parts in the whole and the number of those parts you are describing.
numeratorThe number or expression written above the line in a fraction.
denominatorThe quantity below the line in a fraction. It tells the number of qual parts into which a whole is divided.
decimalA number containing a decimal point.
decimal pointA dot separating the ones and tenths places in a decimal number.
divisorThe quantity by which another quantity is to be divided.
dividendA quantity to be divided.
rational numberA number that can be expressed as the ratio of two integers.
irrational numberNumbers that cannot be written as a ratio of two integers. The decimal extensions never terminate and never repeat.
