Canvassing | when campaign workers go through a neigborhood asking for votes |

Voter Registration | placing your name on a list of registered voters after meeting qualifications to vote |
Electoral College | group of people names by each state legislature to elect the President & VP |
Electors | people chosen to vote in the electoral college |
Incumbent | the holder of a political office who is seeking reelection |
Patronage | when a political party rewards party loyalty with favors or jobs |
