Totalitarianism: a form of government in which the ruler is an absolute dictator (not restricted by a constitution or laws or opposition etc.) This form of government is known for it's ruthlessness and cruelty
Naturalisma genre of writing that emphasizes precise detail or accuracy; therefore, it does not use inner dialogue since this is somenthing people are not exposed to from an external perspective
Realisma genre of writing that de-romanticizes life; the prose tries to capture life as experienced in reality; therefore, people who are cruel may not come to justice
Militarisma policy that emphasizes the military preparedness and arms build up
Fascisma political theory advocating an authoritarian hierarchical government (as opposed to democracy or liberalism); dictator tends to gain power through focusing on racial superiority
Liberalisma political orientation that favors social progress by reform and by changing laws rather than by revolution
Anarchisma political theory favoring the abolition of governments
Industrialisma focus on creating means for mass production, emphasizing the necessity of progress through technology
Capitalisman economic system based on private ownership and the free market system; this system keeps prices down for consumers because of the competition between many producers of the same product; however, it is often accused of keeping prices down and profits for the private owner up by paying inadequate wagers the the workers make the products
