| Menu Bar | a listing of functions within a particular application available to a user |
| Drop-down Menu | A listing of functions that appears when the user clicks on a word or an icon |
| Keyboard shortcut | A means of accessing program features without using menus or tool bars |
| Scroll Bar | a means of moving a page verticaly or horizontally using arrows or the "elevator" box |
| Sharing | a means of providing access to a computer's files or printer over a network so others can read or use them |
| Shortcut | a Microsoft Windows feature that directs the operating system to a particular location |
| Wizard | a series of tasks that are linked together to simplify the process of creating a document or installing software |

| Minimize Button | the button that sends the document window to the task bar |
| Restore Button | the button used to reduce the sixe of the window of a document so it does not fill the entire computer screen |
