| Chat Room | A place to "talk by typing" to other people in the chat room. Be careful! People can trick you! |

| Bulletin Boards | A place on the Internet where you can post messages and informtion on specific topics. |

| Username | A name you choose to use for youself when you're on the Internet. |
| Screen Name | Your username in a chat room. |
| SPAM | Junk mail sent to your email box that is usually advertising something. Don't respond to SPAM. |
| Virus | A hidden computer program that sneaks into your computer through email or the Internet. |
| Password | A secret word that only you and your parents should know. |
