| Ordered list | Items listed in numeric order preceded by a number. |
| RGB color code | A list of extended color names supported by web browsers. |
| Tag | HTML code which may be written in upper or lower case, are enclosed in brackets, and sometimes occur in pairs before and after the text they surround. |

| Web page | A multimedia file containing HTML codes which can be stored on a web server and viewed by multiple platforms on the WWW. |
| Web Server | A special computer that contains weg pages that web users can access and view. |
| Web site | A collection of web pages linked to a common home page created for the Internet. |
| Webbed web site | Web pages with no set structure. The information does not have to read in any particular order. Users can link from one page to the next page in the order of their choice. |
| White Space | An area of empty space on a page used to aid the reader in reading the information. |
| WWW | Hypermedia system that lets you browse through related documents on the Internet through the use of hypertext links. |
