Use the following games to help you review for the second part of the Power Point Vocabulary P-Z

PlaceholderA dashed line box where you place text or objects
Presentation graphics applicationA software program used to organize and present information
Presentation window The area or “canvas” where you work and view your presentation. You type text and work with objects in the Presentation window.
ScrollTo move within a window to see more of the window contents.
Selection BoxA slanted line border that appears around a text object or placeholder indicating it is ready to accept text.
Sizing HandleThe small square at each corner of a selected object. Dragging a resize handle resizes the object.
Slide IconA symbol that appears next to a slide in Outline view.
Slide miniature A reduced color version of the current slide that appears in a small window.
Standard ToolbarThe rows of buttons, or toolbar, that perform the most frequently used commands, such as copy and paste.
Text BoxA box within a dialog box where you type information needed to carry out a command.
Text ObjectAny text you create with the Text Tool or enter into a placeholder. Once you enter text into a placeholder, the placeholder becomes a text object.
TitleThe first line or heading in Outline view
Title BarThe horizontal bar at the top of the window that displays the name of the document or the application.
Title PlaceholderA reserved box on a slide for a presentation or slide title.
Title SlideThe first slide in your presentation
Toggle ButtonA button that turns a feature on or off.
ToolbarA graphical bar with buttons that perform certain PowerPoint commands, such as opening and saving.
TransitionThe effect that moves one slide off the screen and the next slide on the screen during the slide show. Each slide can have its own transition effect.
WindowA rectangle area on your screen where you view and work on presentations
WizardA guided approach that steps you through the task.
