Java Games: Flashcards, matching, concentration, and word search.

Ch. 1, Tercer Paso "Vocabulario:" Los deportes, la comida, la música, las clases

Try out these activities to help you review over and over again the vocabulary from "Vocabulario," pg. 32. Here are some helpful hints:

1) Try the "matching" first, to review the words before you test yourself later. Do this until it is ridiculously easy.

2) Then, run through the flashcards over and over again. When you do the flashcards, be sure to think about the article (el, la), where any accents are in the word, and the spelling when you try to think of the Spanish, given the English. Once you have a basic understanding of what the translation is, don't let yourself get the word "right" until you have all of these components memorized, too.

3) Try the word search WITHOUT using your book or notes. How many words do you really know? Which ones do you need to go back and study more?

4) Use the "Concentration" game to have fun with the words once you think you pretty much know them. You can even play with a fellow classmate.
