Many of the verbs in this lesson are from the 3rd declension. The same rules apply. Remove the "O" from the 1st person singular and add the -ere ending of the infinitive. To write the present tense = pres root + verb ending. NB. In the 3rd person plural the "e" of the root is changed to an "u" before adding the 3rd person plural ending "nt"
