Changes during the alarm stage | hormone adrenaline released, pupils get bigger, heart rate and blood sugar increases, digestive system slows down, and more blood is sent to the heart, lungs, brain, and muscles |

Warning signs of suicide | talking about death or suicide, reading or writing about death, giving away favorite possessions |

Adrenaline | a hormone that is released by the adrenal glands that gives the body extra energy for the fight and flight response |
Fight or Flight response | The bodies reaction in the presence of stress that prepares it for emergency action |
Emotional Stressors | Excitement, anger, fear, grief, joy, love, and happiness |
