15th amendment | gave black men the right to vote; it also said that people could not be denied citizenship based on the color of their skin |
19th amendment | gave women of all color the right to vote (suffrage) |
24th amendment | did away with poll taxes (abolished them) allowing poor people the opportunity to vote |
26th amendment | changed the voting age from 21 to 18 |
