| Run-on sentence | A sentence that keeps going even after a complete thought has been expressed |

| Idiom | An expression where a group of words have a special meaning different from the meanings of the seperate words ("kick the bucket", "hang your head") |
| Interjections | Words that express STRONG feeling (ex: "Whew!", "Oh, no!") |
