Flagellates | a kind of protozoa that live in fresh and salt water and they move by one or more flagella. Some are parasites and cause diseases. |
Amoeboids | a kind of protozoa, also called sarcodines, move by pseudopods (false feet). They can change shape as they surround their food. |
Sporozoa | a kind of protozoa, is a phylum containing only parasites that feed on the blood of humans. They have no way of moving on their own. |
