UltimatumA final statement of terms by one nation to another by which relations between the two can be maintained. If other nation should reject those terms, the result would almost certainly be a diplomatic break, if not a declaration of war.
Wall StreetA street in NY City where many banking and investment firms are located. The phrase has long been used as a synonym for the financial dominance of that city and of what socialists like to call finance capitalism.
