Rising ActionThe events between the conflict and the climax.
ClimaxThe turning point of the story. Usually when we learn how the conflict will be resolved.
ResolutionThe part of the story where the problem is resolved or worked out. This occurs after the falling action and is typically where the story ends.
Falling ActionThe events after the climax which close the story.
