Activity #2 - Editing Features in Word Processing

Terms for editing functions that would be used in a word processing document to complete specific changes.

Cut & PasteTo move a paragraph from page 1 to page 3.
Insert modeTo place the word "night" between the words "Monday meeting" in a sentence.
Page BreakTo end a page and begin another page.
Find & ReplaceTo find the word "January" and change it to "Feb" in an entire document and put in "February".
BackspaceTo delete the word "none" which is located to the LEFT of the cursor.
CopyTo duplicate a paragraph that is to be pasted and used again within the paper.
OvertypeThe mode that replaces everything you had previously typed.
DeleteTo remove the words "at this time" which are located to the RIGHT of the cursor.
Find & ReplaceTo correct the spelling of the name "Johnathan" to be spelled "Jonathan".
SearchTo locate the "date of the next meeting" within a document.
OvertypeThe mode that the computer is in when the "insert" key is accidently pressed.
Page setupThis is the menu one goes under to change from portrait to landscape orientation.
Find/ReplaceTo change "Mr. Sam Johnson" to "Ms. Sam Johnson" in the document.
Table/A-Z sortUse these menus if you want a list in alphabetical order.
Header or footerIf you wanted the page number or your name on every page, you should use this.
Format/paragraph/line spacingGo to this menu to change from single spaced to double.
Insert date or timeWhen inserted, this option will automatically update to the current day
