Web 1.0:the intial, static World Wide Web version of content, which flowed in only one direction:from content originator to user. Sometimes called the "readable" Web.
Web 2.0:the Web evolution that introduced interactivity to Web pages, the hallmark of which is user-generated content such as that found in blogs, social media, forums, etc.
Web 3.0:Tim Berners-Lee's vision of an intelligent Web that will act almost as a user's personal assistant, retrieving information relevant to that user and based on that user's preferences and past Internet activity.
XBRLeXtensible Business Reporting Language (XBRL) format, now required by the SEC for companies filing accounting data.
